My favourite quote of Nikola Tesla

My Inspiration & Role Models

Bruce Lee and Nikola Tesla are my heroes and role models.

I admire them greatly for all they achieved in life, the impact they made on the world and the legacy they left behind. Both men were well ahead of their time and were willing to sacrifice so much in order to achieve great success in everything they attempted.

Tesla’s inventions such as wireless power we will hopefully see become reality in the not too distant future, well over one hundred years after he successfully transmitted power without wires to light bulbs in the ground over four miles away . Now that’s being seriously ahead of your time.

Bruce’s legacy continues to this day, fifty years since he left the world which was just five short months after I arrived in the world. He ruffled some feathers but he also changed alot of attitudes.

I may never achieve at a level they did but I will certainly be putting my all into achieving in my field as much as I can and benefiting the industry that gave me a purpose in life

For many years I have wondered how Bruce’s best quotes and his philosophies would apply to the detailing industry and how he would detail cars if he was a detailer. The first quote from Bruce definitely applies to detailing not just martial arts and it is exactly what I have done over three decades. Tested one hundred and sixty brands of products in that time, choosing to use what works the best, provides benefits other products do not and then choosing to never buy again what doesn’t work.

Plus I have created a few of my own unique services like Trim Dream permanent trim polishing system, original patina paint purification and preservation, Beyond Polish paint perfection and Tri Gloss - the new standard in paint gloss enhancement services.

Along with developing my own techniques and methods for detailing.

Bruce’s quotes and how I think they would apply to detailing if he was a detailer.

I believe he would tell us this

Do not get caught up in the rotary vs random orbital vs forced rotation discussion or be a supporter of one tool type and bash the rest as inferior. Each polishing tool type has it’s place, pros and cons. No one tool is better than the other just like each martial arts style brings something different to the table and is valuable

Do not copy or steal another detailer’s business style, logo, photos and service menu - find your unique niche in the marketplace and truly stand out from the rest.

Always be humble and have an open mind - that is the key to continual growth

In my view this is bruce’s greatest message to the world

We are all one big family. Do not let our idiosyncrasies and differences of opinion separate or divide us. We can have alternate views/opinions and still be respectable and civil.

Treat people how you would like to be treated and only cut people out of your life if they prove to not have your best interests at heart or constantly let you down or nothing mare than users and abusers.

Bruce expressed himself through his martial arts and philosophy, his true passion in life.

I express myself honestly with the same amount of passion but for the detailing industry, the artform of polishing paintwork, exterior trim and transforming vehicle surfaces from the ordinary to the extraordinary plus testing products in outside the box ways.

For me detailing and constant research & testing keeps my skills sharp and remaining on the forefront of technology within the industry
